Safety Mitigation Plan Design, Build & Installation Detailed Action Plan, based on completed risk assessment and safety requirements specification.

  • The safety mitigation plan takes the results from the risk assessment and creates a detailed design plan to bring a machine into standards compliance.
  • The mitigation plan encompasses the design of the safety-related parts of the control system, the guarding modification requirements, and a validation plan.
  • A plan can include complete sub-panel and guarding designs.
  • The fabrication of designs can also be facilitated, to be provided as a turnkey solution.
  • Equipment modifications are typically performed by local integrators, based on customer preference or recommendations can be provided.

Once a Risk Assessment is complete and the Safety Requirements Specification (SRS) is delivered and understood, the next step is the detailed mitigation design, build, and implementation.  This would include electrical panel schematics and panels, fluid power circuits, and guarding or modification to guarding designs.

These can also be built and delivered as a turnkey solution.  This is particularly helpful when several similar machines are being upgraded across a facility or corporation.  ROSS Control can provide a kitted design, to provide uniformity and compliance from machine to machine and plant to plant.

Installation would typically involve local contractors that the end user is already familiar with or those recommended by ROSS.
